ChatWorthy Digital Marketing announces the recipient of its first 2016 Not-for-Profit Assistance program is The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

The Food Bank of Waterloo Region is a charitable organization whose mission is “Through community partnerships, we obtain and distribute emergency food from our neighbours for our neighbours.” In addition to food acquisition, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region provides collaborative leadership support to the Community Food Assistance Network.  Working together with the Cambridge Self Help Food bank and the 100 plus agencies and programs they serve more than 34,000 people each year (5% of Region’s population).

“They are such an amazing and inspiring organization that we have the privilege to work with,” said Marty Lachance, Chief Creative Office at ChatWorthy. “We will be helping develop a digital media project to enhance awareness in our community. We honestly don’t know what it will look like, but we do know we are going to produce something creative and something great.”

The NFP Assistance program is run twice annually and helps selected non-profit organizations with a donation of marketing and technical services. ChatWorthy’s last recipient in 2015 was Saint Luke’s Place, a senior’s facility in Cambridge, Ontario. The result of that donation was a new Accessible and Responsive website.

ChatWorthy Digital Marketing provides business and technical solutions to organizations in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. The company was founded in 2011.
